Nexacare works with donors, Federal and State and Local Government counterparts, implementing partners, sub-recipient organisations, and community-based partners. We approach every partnership with the same disciplines we apply to our own work: country-systems-first, data-grounded, equity-explicit, and audit-defensible.

Donors and funders

Nexacare engages donors with the discipline of a fully institutional partner. Our institutional documentation stack includes Award Compliance Profile worked exemplars for USAID, FCDO, Gavi, and the Global Fund. We hold a complete Donor Compliance Toolkit covering due diligence response, branding and visibility, reporting cadence, sub-recipient management, and audit posture. Government counterparts

We engage the Federal Ministry of Health, NPHCDA, NMEP, NCDC, State Ministries of Health across our nine operational states, and Local Government Health Departments at the LGA level. Our posture is country-systems-first: we support rather than parallel the work of government.

Implementing partners

Nexacare engages implementing partners through structured sub-award arrangements aligned with our Sub-Award and Downstream Partner Management Policy. Capacity assessment, risk-tiered monitoring, and flow-down compliance terms are part of every engagement.

Communities and community-based organisations

The trust of communities is the foundation of every Nexacare programme. We engage traditional and religious leadership, women’s groups, youth groups, and community-based organisations as primary partners in health delivery.
