Children under five remain among the most vulnerable populations in Nigeria. Pneumonia, diarrhoea, malaria, malnutrition, and neonatal complications continue to claim lives that are preventable with proven interventions: routine immunisation, exclusive breastfeeding, prompt treatment of childhood illness, and clean delivery.
At Nexacare, child survival is a thread that runs across all seven of our pillars. We work to strengthen primary healthcare facility readiness, support community case management of childhood illness, drive routine immunisation coverage, and partner with State and Local Government Health Departments to bring the right interventions to the right children at the right time.
Child survival is not one programme. It is a discipline that runs through every part of the health system.
